Poultry farming is an important sector in agriculture that requires continuous monitoring of environmental conditions to maintain poultry health and productivity. Traditional poultry farming methods mainly depend on manual supervision, which can result in improper environmental control, feed wastage, delayed hazard detection, and increased labor requirements. This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-enabled poultry farm monitoring and control system using smart sensors, automation, and cloud connectivity. The proposed system integrates temperature and humidity monitoring, ammonia gas detection, water level monitoring, lighting control, automated feed dispensing, and visual monitoring through a camera module. An ESP32 microcontroller is used as the central processing unit to collect sensor data and control farm devices automatically. The collected data are transmitted to a cloud-based dashboard using Wi-Fi for real-time monitoring and remote access. The system activates fans, lights, feeders, and alerts whenever abnormal environmental conditions are detected. The proposed solution reduces manual effort, improves poultry welfare, increases farm efficiency, and supports smart farming applications. Experimental results demonstrate reliable monitoring and automation suitable for both small-scale and commercial poultry farms.
