Online learning has become an important part of modern education. Although virtual classes provide flexibility and convenience, teachers often face difficulty in monitoring whether students are paying attention during the session. Students may switch tabs, minimize the browser, remain idle, or leave the classroom window while still appearing online. This paper proposes a Live Classroom Monitoring and Engagement System that continuously observes student activity during an online class. The system uses browser event detection to identify inactivity, tab switching, browser minimization, and page closure. Whenever such activity is detected, an alert is sent immediately to the teacher dashboard. The proposed system also maintains attendance records and generates detailed reports after every session. The system is implemented using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in an Apache XAMPP environment. Experimental results show that the system provides accurate monitoring and improves student discipline in online learning obesity risk management
